Join EMS guides and Adelaide SCUBA crew on the Seahorse dive
boat for a 3 hr tour along Marino Rocks reef and the Port Noarlunga Reef Sanctuary Zone.
This tour will consist of a 40 min snorkel at Port Noarlunga Reef Sanctuary Zone and
a 40 min snorkel along Marino Rocks Reef.
Port Noarlunga Reef has been a reserve since 1971 and Marine Parks Sanctuary Zone since 2014. Marine life encountered at the sanctuary zone includes large schools of reef fish, long snout boarfish, blue devil fish, rays, Port Jackson's & wobbegong sharks and even the weedy and leafy seadragon. Due to stairway missing from the jetty a boat dive is the only safe and easy way to snorkel the outer reef.
The Marino Rocks reef is alive with reef fish, rays, pipefish and if you are lucky you can spot the pipefishes cousin the leafy seadragon. Marino Rocks is a long reef area and difficult to get to without a boat.
This boat snorkel trip is an intermediate level - open to those who are 15 years and over, confident in water and have snorkelled before several times.
Depart O'Sullivan Beach boat ramp at 10.45am – Return 1.30pm
Arrive O'Sullivan Beach boat ramp 9.45am for 10.45am departure.
Boat will not return to O'Sullivan Beach boat ramp between snorkel tours. Boat
will arrive back to O'Sullivan Beach boat ramp between 130-2pm
